HI there! I have started to make a list of certain topics we can discuss. If anyone would like to add one or more please do!! The first thing I would like to start with is...Where can we go with our children that makes them, as well as us, happy and keeps them safe?? Well over the past year I have found a few places TO go and one major NO, NO spot for our family. The first place that my kids LOVE to go and it's fairly inexpensive is the County Zoo. For under $100.00 (at our Milwaukee county zoo) we can purchase a "zoo pass" for our family plus parking that is good for 1 year! You can go as many days as you want for the year for under $100.00. So we pack up the stroller and cooler and we can go for the day or just a couple hours and don't have to worry "if we got our moneys worth". If you forgot your sunglasses or sunscreen....no problem, head to the gift shop and since you are a zoo pass member you receive a discount on everything you purchase!

The second place I have to mention is The Big Backyard! It is located in New Berlin, WI and it is a HUGE indoor park. It includes a huge Rainbow play system for the older kids and a smaller play system for the young ones. My son's favorite activity there are the huge assortment of ride on toys! There is a cost to this, however, if your kids enjoy going you can buy different passes depending on how often you will go. We are currently doing the "Play Pal Punch Card".

The third place I would like to mention is absolutely FREE.....it's a common place but.....a regular PARK. Here where I live we have tons of parks around us, however, since many of them are well known they can be quit busy so what my friend and I did was look in near by subdivisions (especially higher class ones and viola....beautifully built, empty or just a few children, and absolutely FREE parks!

One place I'd like to mention before I have to go help my husband tuck our boys into bed is one place I do not like taking my children.....

A very common fast food restraunt that starts with a...McD....yup that's right! My boys get sick every time!!! The first time I let my oldest play at McDonalds my son got Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease and we were rushing to the ER when he would not stop crying for over an hour in the middle of the night. Just a few weeks ago when we ventured there once again he ended up getting a pretty nasty stomach bug as well as a respiratory one! With that said we will not be going there!! Not too mention both times we found buckets of dirty water and rags in the play system...yuck!

Well that is all I have time for a the moment but please post your ideas and hope to talk to you soon!
